Hi, I'm Elowen.


I'm the photographer behind Ebberts Portraiture, serving Ithaca, Rochester, Alfred, and surrounding areas of Upstate New York!


I'm also a senior nursing student who will be stepping into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as a Registered Nurse this May! Both paths have taught me the same quiet lesson: the smallest moments often carry the most meaning.


I photograph couples, families, individuals, pets, and meaningful milestones such as engagement sessions, and graduation portraits.


I also offer a free of charge package titled Final Bloom. These are end-of-life sessions for people and pets. Final Bloom sessions are my most personal part of this work. These sessions exist because I understand what it means to wish you had more pictures, more proof that someone was here and loved. Whether it's a beloved pet or a cherished family member, these sessions are slow, gentle, and free of charge. Always.


But what I'm photographing is something quieter.


The way someone laughs without realizing it.

A hand reaching for another.

A moment that passes in seconds but becomes part of your story forever.


I'm not looking for perfect.


I'm drawn to what's real.


Because the photographs that matter most later are rarely the posed ones. They're the ones that remind you exactly how it felt to be there.
